The New Deal for Parents is a research project and campaign led by Phoebe Arslanagić-Little.
We believe: that children are a good; that all of us should be able to have the families we want; and that every child is an important contribution to our future prosperity. But the UK is an ageing society with a birth rate challenge – we are having fewer children than we want and our fertility rate is
falling.
Our mission is to solve the birth rate challenge by better supporting families and making it easier for people to have the children they want. Working in the heart of Westminster, we are raising the salience of barriers to parenthood and the birth gap challenge among MPs, journalists, and opinion formers.
